Sometimes, flowers find you before you find your path.
I’m Isis Lopez, the floral designer and founder of Blooming Canyon, a home-based floral studio in Phoenix, Arizona, where every arrangement tells a story. My love for flowers began more than 30 years ago, long before Blooming Canyon came to life. Art, architecture, and nature have always been my creative language. During my college years, I began working as a florist, and what started as a side job soon grew into a lifelong calling. I realized flowers could do more than decorate; they could communicate love, comfort, and celebration in ways words sometimes can’t.
In 2007, I took a leap and opened my first studio, Expressions in Bloom, later becoming Flowers by Isis. Those early years were filled with learning, experimenting, and falling deeper in love with floral design. From intimate weddings to small celebrations, I discovered the magic of creating pieces that carry emotion and intention.
By 2018, Blooming Canyon Flowers was born, a place where people could find a florist in the Phoenix area. Locals could find handcrafted, heartfelt flowers for everyday moments, events, weddings, and workshops. My mission has always been simple: to design flowers that feel personal, natural, and full of heart.
Each arrangement is thoughtfully crafted with seasonal blooms sourced from local Arizona growers and trusted suppliers, bringing harmony between nature and design. Whether you’re brightening a home, celebrating a milestone, or sending comfort, I take pride in creating designs that reflect your unique story.
